Fire Safety

The TR-Auto System has passed British fire-resistance test BS476 (Part 22: 1987) in which a system fitted to a double-leaf, single-acting door withstood fire for an hour.

 

Disability-Friendly

As far as we are aware, MDC's TR-Auto System is the only product available with a hydraulic hinge that automatically disengages when the door is pushed lightly. This means users only need fingertip pressure to move the weight of the door, and do not encounter any damping force.

 

Healthcare Use

Our closer/hinges have no ligature points, making them ideal for hospital wards or rehab units where patients require special monitoring.
