Spring-Assist Tech Specs & Prices

An aligned cut of 2.5 mm into both the door and doorframe is recommended for all hinges.

The set contains two Standard hinges for the top and bottom of the door or gate, plus a Spring-assist hinge that should be fitted at the mid-point with the adjuster facing outwards.

Screws and a 3 mm pin are provided. Adjust the Spring-assist hinge with a hexagonal key to the tension required for chosen rate of closure, then insert the pin to hold that setting.

Good for both right and left-hanging doors up to 45 kg / 99 lbs.

For hanging doors or gates over 45 kg / 99 lbs, fit two Spring-assist hinges, evenly spaced between the top and bottom Standard hinges.
